schwab: I was told by the broker over phone that I'm charged one commision fee on trades on same name up to 999,999 units for the day, hence I can trade 3000 shares x 333 trades for just $12.95. *may sure you verify this with them first!

The person trading the 3k is not using schwab. Schwab usually routes to UBS i recall
