7:13AM Coeur d'Alene Mines Proposes to Acquire WHT (CDE) 5.06: CDE announced that it has proposed an acquisition of WHT in a stock and cash transaction valued at $3.28 per WHT share, or a total transaction value of approx $1.8 bln, including $1.9 bln in equity and $133 mln in assumed debt less $174 mln of cash, based upon CDE closing stock price on May 27, 2004.
