Here's my thoughts. Investors who bought more of this stock than they could afford are selling back part of their holdings to pay their bills. Everyone has their own time frames for how long they can hold. Many incorrectly thought the deal would be finished by the end of July. Now they must sell some, not all, of their holdings to take care of personal business. Some may be selling to free up cash for other investments. Some are selling now but will buy back later. The problem for sellers now is they have to sell at a very low price. Buyers are the lucky ones now. Some here seem to have limitless supplies of cash to keep buying more of the stock as it drops in price. Others not so fortunate are holding their current positions.
