#1242 RE: homeruntrader #1241

Aloha Homerun.. and that isn't even the half of it! MDOR has the right for the exclusive use of Dr. Ing. Gunter Mennig's patents.... which is where the real future of this company is - the field of rubber powder products...

Based on current research at the University of Chemnitz, it is estimated that the current annual demand for fine rubber powders is on the magnitude of 2 million tons. Current production is less than 260,000 tons, leaving 87% of the market unfulfilled. Furthermore, studies show that the current growth rate for rubber powder products is expanding at a rate between 6% and 8% per year. The growth has been driven by the growing popularity and demand for “Green” products throughout the world.

Manufacturing companies today are under tremendous pressure to turn their present processes into a much more environmentally friendly or “Green” direction. Another challenge confronting such companies is maintaining the ability to keep their costs in line as they try to go “Greener”. Quality rubber nuggets of high purity for large scale application are very much in demand on the market, but presently cannot be supplied in the required amounts or even at all. Quality rubber nuggets specifically of a grain size of less than 0.300 mm permit the substitution of primary raw materials. The specific surface of the grain is considerably enlarged, thus improving the adhesive strength properties significantly. The rubber nuggets currently on the market are mainly products of plants for ambient grinding and are not as fine and pure as required for high-value products. Yet these very properties are a prerequisite for major industrial techniques. In injection moldings, for instance in the automobile industry, it is absolutely impossible to use rubber nuggets other than those of grain sizes of <0.250 mm.

MDOR’s proprietary technology provides a one of a kind solution to all of the above challenges. In fact, our licensing rights with Artech, through its subsidiaries, have optimized the necessary grinding and purification technology, making it possible to produce the finest rubber nuggets of grain sizes of < 0.250mm on a large scale. Thus, the application of recycled rubber nuggets in the field of high-value elastomer products became possible.

This provides huge advantages:

1. Excellent reductions in the cost of manufactured end use products through the substitution of rubber nuggets;

2. These processes not only provide a new and expansive methodology for the recycling of rubber but do so at a cost as much as 40% below the present cost of producing thermoplastic elastomers (TPE’s).

MDOR has been granted, for the life of the patents, the exclusive license by Professor Dr. Ing. Gunter Mennig, Dr. Michael, and Dr. Scholz (lecturers at The University of Chemnitz), for the family of patents which define the method by which rubber powder can be bonded with thermoplastic materials to create an elastomer that is subsequently used to create TPE like products. These patented processes will allow MDOR to produce high quality materials in industrial quantities, unlike any other competitor or supplier worldwide and generate immediate business.
