Yet Another Update from Mountain View

The Mountain View store is getting close now. The walls are painted, the partitions are finished or nearly finished, the ceiling is complete, and the flooring looks to be in. Some of the furniture is in place. They've got "Now Hiring" signs plastered on the windows.

It is still very much a construction site. There's wiring hanging down from the ceiling all over the place. There are a few uncovered holes in the walls. Protective plastic is everywhere. I didn't see any signs of electronics (table touch-screens or wait-station monitors) yet. The outside sign hasn't gone up yet.

My guess is that they're still two or three weeks away from opening, at a minimum. The "Now Hiring" signs suggest that they're not yet fully staffed, and I would expect a place like this to have a longer training period than a Chili's or Olive Garden. But the inside looks very much like a restaurant now.
