I was talking to wifey last night about an interview I saw on the news where they were talking to someone that said that this was the last time they were going to go through this and they weren't going to go back anymore.
It occurred to me that we may be seeing the beginnings of the virtual abandonment of the Gulf coast as a residential zone entirely.
Like Strato said, we can't continue to bail them out, and the storms are obviously getting worse and more frequent. Insurance companies like All State won't even touch certain states anymore...
It'll probably end up being one great big RV park for temporary habitation by tourist in trailer on simple concrete pads that can't be washed away.
