I guess not only Cisco but any device from any vendor that supports MIP...look below...

This is without ASNAP

Cellphone (MIP Client)-----cellsite (FA)----MTSO (HA) ----Internet---Corporate Network (MIP Server).

#2 Cellphone (MIP Client)---Wi-Fi AP's----ISP---Internet---Corporate Network (MIP Server).


If you will have ASNAP to integrate both worlds...then all you need is to have an interconnection between #1 and #2 and have the ASNAP server verify/authenticate the ASNAP powered phone for roaming between two network and while roaming, the MIP application in the Cellphone will not be distrupted while accessing resources in the Corporate network. As you can see, ASNAP and MIP is dealing with two different things.
