The Bay Area companies are the first to get the state’s OK after 14 firms were told in June to halt their direct-to-consumer genetic testing services.

Notice that there is no mention of "ANCESTRY" tests?

Furthermore, the issue that the California authorization directly addresses is the issue of internet sales of DNA testing for the purpose of personalized medicine. California wants all such testing to be directed by physicians.

Nothing DNAG does in terms of it's Ancestry products applies to personalized medicine and Doctors testing requirements.

All hype..........NO SUBSTANCE.
