Yes, I do remember that. There were MANY credible reports at the time that McBush was considering switching to the Dem party because he was fed up with Bush/Rove politics, especially after what they did to him/his wife during the 2000 primary. But, eventually he sold his soul for promises from the neocons...and the funny thing is, they still don't like him but he keeps trying - he made Grove Norquist very happy today with his VP selection.

Did you know that Biden recommended McCain to be the VP for John Kerry? Kerry would have won if that were the case. Easily.
