The 'good news' has been done to death.

What about the good news that keeps coming out?

It doesn't keep coming out it is merely repeated over and over. In all the years that the forensic product has been available, to all the police departments in the world, it turns out that the number of viable applications of the product is almost nil. Look for yourself, how many cases have there been? Do you need more than one hand to count them on? The cases are sensational and the hype is tremendous but the market for the products is nonexistent.

On the recreational side, all the 'partnerships' with all the distributors don't amount to anything if the actual customers aren't interested in the product.

'Cutting Edge' is just a phrase. In most cases it means that the journalist using it doesn't understand the technology. Furthermore a 'cutting edge' product does not make a market. You could build a computer out of turnips, it would most certainly be cutting edge technology lol, but it's doubtful that you could sell many of them.
