Your point is valid...

however, that being said, and this is a true story,

I held Ultra petroleum[UPL],which I bought on the Vancouver exchange, for 5 years before selling @ $5,realizing a 200% profit, right before the 2 for 1 forward split in 2002.It was trading on the Amex @ that point.
Has since moved to the NYSE.

The whole time I held it,I read posts like yours on the chat boards, and of course since 2002 UPL has traded close to $100 post split,or near $200 pre-split.

Think I'll stick with CTGI for at least a couple more years just to see what happens.

The value will be determined by what they produce and sell,
not anything else, and certainly not on pure potential. Some
have been looking at the worth as the wonderful future possibilities, but these have to manifest or remain in dream land.

Amen, brother....there are dozens, if not 1000's of low PE companies with outstanding YOY revenue and profit growth that the market has kicked down to levels not seen for years. These aren't companies with only big ideas: they make real $$ today.

Until we do the same, which DR has suggested won't begin to happen until Jan. 2009, we are fighting the FA bear trend daily. Falsely inflating expectations of dramatic PPS increases before every medical conference, and the ensuing rationale as to why the PPS didn't skyrocket, are a diservice to the excellent DD that has been a feature of this board since I invested in CTUM back in 2005.

Hopefully while we wait, the FDA submission for the bowel re-section device will be submitted. IMO, organ suturing (and its full FDA approval) will be the difference maker for this company.
