"Start mining right away" Maybe if you were an outside company you would have the expertise that Golden and Faber have you too would not begin mining immediately but would also chose to take the "do it right the first time" approach. Systematically drill until you have bounded your reserves in a given area and have a full picture of those reserves so you can design the most efficient and profitable mining operation. The info gained from this will also make them a more attractive buyout candidate.
Everything I've heard or read so far indicate mining not likely to start until mid 2009. That could change but from from the info we have we should not expect sooner. It is our greed and impatience that make us want mining to start now before, as Golden says, "we will let the land/drilling tell us when we should start mining".
