I remember from years ago, when we were...

researching the 50% tax rate, it was pretty much the going rate....also its called a tax, but if you really think about it, the oil belongs to Nigeria/STP, its their natural resource. Since they own it, then getting half of it's value is fair.

If somebody discovered gold in your back yard, how much would you think is fair for you to keep as your share?
