Do you think, though, that SLV is still a good investment? It's not feasible for me to buy actual silver bullion (especially now), so I figured that may be the next best thing. I did have some GLD also, but decided to trade that in for more SLV because of the greater profit potential that silver has. The only potential problem that I can see with SLV would be if there ended up being some question as to the actual amount of silver that the fund had backing it up, but wanted to get your take on it in case there could be other issues.
It appears that gold & silver are still very much at the mercy of oil and the dollar. I would really like to see G & S break away from them a little and simply go up and down based on investment demand only, but we both know that can't happen yet (mostly because of the manipulation). Maybe someday soon...
