Several things make it difficult, or unwise. The tool is not designed to last forever, it cannot be autoclaved(high heat),
if made correctly any alcohol based dissinfectant and possibly chlorine based scrubbed onto the tool would have ill affects, the co. should have a HEAVY disclaimer plus a counter inside the vad 400, and the Surgeon will have to bear the totality of any failure to perform or infection from cross contamination between patients. That cross contamination
WILL cost ya BIIIG time. One good lawyer away from never performing surgery again,lol.

This is why I believe the vast majority of Surgeons and hospitals do not abuse the "Disposable" concept on already existing Disposable tools.
