They very well could want to go public. Now. The 1st part of the merger annoucement in July mentions 2. 1 public and 1 private.

The first offer has been communicated in a term sheet that would merge both a public and a private company into CCMJ. The nature of the merger would include management resources, monetary influx and other considerable assets.
