There is no speculation that Gas/Oil will double or triple here, that has nothing to do with the buying and selling today, everyone is sitting on their stocks waiting for the 10Q filing which comes out today.
This may only be a small company, but it has wells that ARE producing gas and oil, which means they have revenue coming in from selling that same gas and oil. Production has been slowly increasing, which means that revenue also increases. How many shares does Exxon Mobile have? Are they crashing because they have too many shares? How about Microsoft? What matters is production, revenues, and future growth, we have all three here.
The company was estimated last year to have reserves totaling around $7.6 Billion in reserve assets, so again, how does this make it a speculative play? It was a speculative play before the beginning of this year, before they had producing wells and revenue, yet they hit a share price of $2.55 with NO REVENUES or PRODUCING WELLS. Please get your facts straight, and these are FACTS.
