I know that Schrull and JL said that the structures are so pronounced in our blocks that they can't be missed but I never understood why they would make the comment that the "deep" potential is scary. Are they saying the seismic only is good to a certain depth,, it is not easily interpreted past a certain depth, indications are for amounts far above first indicated, etc?

I would like to think that they have a pretty good idea of what is in the blocks as deep as is feasible to drill with today's technology and they are keeping it close to the vest.
Part of the under-promise and over-deliver credo.

I have been hoping that this is the potential for oil amounts far above what was originally estimated with the older seismic data from years ago.

We have heard both side of the discussion as to amount of oil in the JDZ ranging from the lowest end to some seemingly high amounts that are mind boggling and probably outlandish (but one can hope) and I am sure nobody has a clue except those involved in the reading of the logs.
