Itronics Inc. (OTCBB: ITRO) (FRANKFURT: ITG) (BERLIN: ITG) today reported a positive gross profit for the first half 2008 of $425,400, up from $124,000 in the first half of 2007, an increase of 243 percent. In the first half 2008, total sales increased by 39 percent to $1,917,000, but non-fertilizer sales increased by 65 percent and made a major contribution to improved gross profit. Operating loss in the first half was reduced by 43 percent.
