#137358 RE: bayfisherii #137356

I am in the dark as to the floor of our blocks. I was under the impression that the bottom is pretty rugged and thus we have to drill in many pools rather than one LARGE pool. As a result, tying in all the pools will be challenging (I thought J Ledbetter stated this at the SHM) due to the rugged terrain.

How does the meandering channel (flat bottom?) go along with this rugged bottom that I have envisioned like a mountain range? Have the hydrocarbons flowed into the bottom of this channel over the years and the walls have built up on either side to form the trap? Is there even a tie-in between the channel and the rough bottom terrain?

Obviously I am pretty screwed up in my vision of the JDZ floor and the geology beneath the floor. Would appreciate a clarification from anyone who has a firm grasp on the geology of the area.
