#12575 RE: Nickelback #12574

you speak of risk

the risk is not a number on a website, the risk is that SIVC does not deliver on the promises made in the last four press releases:

AUGUST 6: There has been continued progress on the annual reports, and the company expects to have them completed and ready to file by September 2008 -- "ready to file" does not mean filed.

"We are very pleased with the progress that has been made on the company's annual financial reports, and look forward to their completion in September" -- once again, "completion" does not specifically mean "filed".

The company has projected up to three additional closed reverse merger transactions before the end of the 2008 calendar year, including one anticipated in or around September -- "in or around" could mean October, or later, IMO

JULY 31: we look forward to meeting that ambitious schedule; however, we will also remain realistic in our expectations. Reverse merger transactions, especially those involving overseas companies, have an element of unpredictability, particularly as it relates to timing...The good news is that even if our third targeted client does not close before the end of December, it should be poised to be our first in 2009. -- giving themselves an out.

JULY 23: Mr. Bickel stated that he expected one reverse merger transaction to close in or around September and the other is anticipated to close in the October-November timeframe.

lots of talkie-talkie about timeframes, and everyone here is baking all the potential good news into the cake.

They have set the bar and now must deliver. If the uplisting work and/or the RMs are delayed for any reason, look out. That is why forward looking statements in PR's are virtually worthless, esp. for the pink sheets.

I, for one, have bet that they will announce a Merger client by the end of September, because if they don't, they will have lost all credibility. I would be disappointed, but not surprised, if they delay the SEC filing of the previous three years annual reports. They've got about six weeks to pull it off. But if they are true to their word and get it done, the stock could be multiples higher from here.
