#3584 RE: Bugs1234 #3582

Bugs, last time I checked Jack filed CIV-03-0180 in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

In a settlement of outstanding personal litigation, the Company’s former Chairman and CEO Jack Wheeler transferred the shares beneficially held by him to the plaintiff in the action. To the best of the Company’s knowledge, Mr. Wheeler beneficially holds no Aspen shares.

Filing Date: 9/4/2003 Form Type: 20-F

I don’t know if Jack is the direct owner of shares, his name does not appear among the biggies.

It is better to file and later amend pertinent data then to file late in my opinion.

The history of a management team whether it be Wheeler’s or Calentine’s is an excellent gauge, however the lack of drilling updates gives an exaggerated sense of importance to Aspen’s recent past under new management as they leave us with little reference for the present.

They are going through some effort to implement the Westchester/Aspen joint venture. With Aspen as proposed operator I would think that our house has to be put in order. Therefore in that respect I would imagine whatever the glitch it will be straightened out.

Bugsy: Looks like the P is back on. Stock is back to $.37 from yesterday's close of $.34. My question is should I sell them the 10,000 shares I bought at the end of the day yesterday at $.34. It's $300 bucks in my pocket. It could pay for the groceries this week-end. What do you think?

Thanks in advance
