A terminology clarification is in order here. Typically, Angels don't invest millions - they invest in the 100's of thousands range. Angels also tend to invest in pre-revenue startups, many with protectable IP. Venture Capitalists (VC) are higher on the food chain - they put in millions, sometimes many millions.
