Mike: thanks for both comments. There's just no sign of the bear giving us a real break. It's so disappointing to be long anything.

I have sold most of my holdings, sold off more stuff early this morning (should have waited a few hours, but in the end, the stocks closed lower than where I sold them, even though I could have gotten better prices during the trading day). I'm entirely off margin now in every one of my brokerage accounts, but I wish I'd gotten out of more stocks much sooner, before they tanked so badly.

You have good ideas about using CC's and you do it brilliantly. GE was an old standby of mine for a long time, but since it stopped going anywhere, I dropped it and that means... it should be perfect for CC's. lol! I think it's an excellent choice. I used to think of it as being its own mutual fund because it had so many businesses of so many kinds.

Thanks for the lead on DMLP. When interest rates rise or promise to rise, though, won't these things drop in value? Won't they be a better buy in a few months, for example?
