#63237 RE: milplease #63236

only in edigland is this true.....

"Number of units does not determine the relevance of an order."

This is only the case if a company is not trying to make money from selling said product. So in the case of EDIG, were they make their money selling shares of stock instead of profitable products, you are right, number of units does not matter.

But you do understand that a legitimate company trying to make money by selling a profitable product the ONLY relevent numbers are units and the margin. You are right in the case of EDIG that numbers do not matter because it allows them to put out a PR to support there real business, selling stock.

"Since $600K is 23% of FYE 03 Revenue it is both relevant and material to the company."

In what way? FYE 03 Revenue was DWARFED by Stock Selling 03 Revenue. Who care if it exceeds last year's entire pathetic revenue number? They still are not going to turn a profit.

"Hope that helps.'

It helps gauge the Kool-Aid dosage.

Can't wait for the "620 units have shipped" PR and the "620 units have arrived" PR and the "620 boxes have been opened" PR!!!!
