HailMary, don´t confuse AMD´s product family maximum (their TDP) with the TDP INTEL uses for their processors. It is in AMD´s interest to follow INTEL´s precedent and make sure their desktop infrastructure partners provide them (AMD) with as much (thermal) breathing room as possible for future products.
