Avatar, it's deja vu all over again ... once again. Wasn't it around the K6-2 or K7 timeframe that AMD was touting "retail" market share gains, but not counting the "corporate" market? Once again, the "analysis" is that AMD should try and gain acceptance in the corporate desktop space. Wasn't that supposed to be the case with K7?
Geez, I must be getting old, and I'm probably younger than most people here ...
