Well that warranted a post on my part! Hope everyones doing great? This summer sure didnt turn out to be boring like I had hoped- I pretty much spend about an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon, and most of my trading I seem to be doing between 4-8pm with pretty decent success.. Seems to be the best thing to do these days is just sit and watch and only act when its something you feel ever so strongly about the technicals or the tape or whatever your game is ; )
Some stocks im watching- someone mentioned MELI? Was it Mike? and this has been a great little trader, and some very strong buyers came in on those last few dips- I was out and missed the move bacfk over $34, but its worth chasing..
SDTH.. CSCO even looks interesting here.. FAST over $50- the fundamentals on FAST are fantastic, so worth watching.. SANM reverse split coming but as lousy as that is for the stock? they alwatys seem to run up into that so... cheap and liquid! WLB- another low floater mentrioned here by someone a few months ago and has been a great swinger now breaking out to new highs.. GIGM.. CTGX..
geesh I guess I could go on and on its been so long since I posted.. hah!
welp- for today im long CSCO with a stop at 22.1, also SDTH but just a day trade today in SDTH as the volume isnt there, and a stop at 9.3... watching CFX for a long OR a short, its moving with FLS but FLS had a huge pullback and im watching to see how CFX holds or doesnt hold 27 into the close..
Gluck!! I cannot wait till September rolls around.. I think after a small up move here over the next few weeks? come this fall fundamentals will take over again and the markets should produce new lows... Very rare to spot any fear over the last few months and all anyones talked about is finding the bottom and buying the financials.. I still think anyone thinking past short term trading right here and now is just asking for trouble.. Nuff said : )
