It's not MY story that's twisted.
Furthermore, I didn't say anyone was right, wrong, lying, or otherwise. I said it's very suspect.

As SRS pointed out, we don't even know for a fact that the component you claim is no longer available is even a component used by SEVU.

I haven't seen any facts to research, and the one you have presented (the Motorola chip) seems to be much more available than you claim.

It's NOT K-Byte!!! (I think)

Schoffer - Per your request, I did a little more homework. I re-read your posts carefully, as well as published claims by Rich McBride and even Anthony @ Pacific.

Let's start with your post #3718, in which you state "...my friend is a part supplier to K-Byte and Seaview and he told me that several parts of Secuview will not arrive in January nor in February".

Now let's check the A@P Report: "In a phone interview with Mr. Dan Mehosky, identifying himself as the Supervising Manager of Manufacturing at K-Byte Manufacturing, now a division of Reptron, (NASDAQ:REPT), on Thursday Dec. 14th, 2000, Pacific was told that SEVU has no manufacturing agreement of any type in place with K-Byte. "K-Byte at one time did give SEVU a bid on a printed circuit board job, but nothing ever happened afterwards" said Mr. Mehosky."

Finally, McBride's response in his 12/18 "View from the Bridge":

"This thing has always been blown out of proportion. We have many qualified manufacturers in our area. K-Byte courted us for the business. We did not advance any funding or letters of credit because we were not ready to build in mass quantities. I have stated this many times. Mr. Rick Phillips is an honest professional with integrity, even if what was stated was true, he would not make such a ridiculous comment. Pure B.S. taken out of context."

???????????????????????????

Isn't it possible that SEVU has contracted with a different supplier for procurement and manufacturing? Once again, I'm not calling anyone a liar. I just find the whole thing suspect. Perhaps that's because we all seem to be assuming that K-Byte will be the vendor. Ironically, the statement that K-Byte does NOT have a current relationship with SEVU is among the few data points which are consistent between A@P, SEVU, K-Byte, and perhaps even your friend/relative.
