new to site, hope not to far off topic. Having been a penny stockbroker from '86 to '02,I agree that T/A is essential, but, I have seen pps's killed AND ran small floated stocks in my career. The chart is all good, until New Years Eve, and I buy 3x the daily volume of a stock at "mkt to close", or conversley,I once controlled 525000 of 800000 shrs of a new issue. On a day prior to mkt holiday, mkt closes at 1pm EST. when I entered an order to sell 1 block all-or-none
of 50,000 shrs, with a limit of $5.00 ( stock 6.00 x 6.125)
I was on the phone w/the co.ceo,my co. trader, and 3 other mkt makers in minutes! order did not get filled. Bottom line. TA is great till something (911) comes out of the woodwork.
