Todd, I've often conjectured that Time Warner would announce a deal with dataplay ever since their negotiations back in November. There was never an announced conclusion but it is my feeling that the announcement will coincide with the launch of Dataplay in the marketplace. It would garner significant media attention which is precisel;y what a successful Dataplay launch will require. I do not see Sony joining forces with the other labels any time soon. Even though Sony Music is a separate entity from Sony electronics, the corporate politics and competitive intrests with the memory stick will stand in the way, at least until the wind lofts Dataplays sails.
