Yes L2 is real time trades pps and bid/ask.

I believe you can day trade if you have $25k but check with your broker.

If you buy/sell in the same day it is a "round trip" and you can only have 5 in a revolving 5 day period, at least with ameritrade. if you exceed that your account can be locked up to i think 90 days. again check with your broker.

Less than $25K the rules are complicated and stupid.

Interactive Brokers stops you from exceeding the rules to prevent a lengthy trading suspension.

Mytrack used to stop you from buying and send you an email that you've been naughty and they want $10,000 for a margin call, that I never paid, ever.

A day or two later all is fine in both cases.
