You lost it as in you already sold? Otherwise, you haven't actually lost anything yet. Just hang in there and it should head up to your average soon eough.

Then I quess you are going to have to hang on to your shares because the tallest buildings I can see is about 34 stories which is the Hyatt or the Omni and you know Moores isn't about to let you into his Penthouse. So cheer up it is not all bad and jumping from 34 you will probably just break you leg.

A human life is worth more than $4000.

Hold for long term or take a loss and sell out or do a partial sell.

Much better options for you.

My take on the pennies, is either put in a small chunk of change that you can afford to lose into companies that look like they might have a good future, and then wait it out and enjoy life, or else invest bigger cash into stocks likely to go up soon, but put a tight stop loss in. Basically, I am not a big gambler, but am still trying out stocks. A company digging oil wells has a lot of upside potential IMO, so I am keeping my spare change in, but not betting the whole farm.

I assume you are just kidding, Ben, but if not, tell us. There's all kinds of help out there, and lots of ways to earn that money back.

It takes a double to make up a 50% loss--those are not that hard to come by, or two 40% gains, or four 20% gains--those are a dime a dozen in penny land.

Just don't fall into the trap of thinking you have to make the money back all at once or in the same stock you lost it. IMO, UVSE will give a better exit than the one it's giving now, but it will probably not double from here. It might, but probably not.

Ironically, the best way to maximize profits over time is not to focus on maximizing profits, but to protect capital and take smaller profits when available.
