I'm sure this has been ongoing shorting for a couple months now, which would explain the range we have been trading in and the volume leading up to those days.

It is common to see a large short position on penny stocks when they begin financing by selling shares. EXPH recently completed a financing last month, but the SIX MONTHS prior they were selling shares to raise capital. The MM's or another entity began to short when they saw the dilution--they never expected JD actually had numerous purchase orders from Fortune 100 companies on hand. Its actually a very unfortunate situation for them, as I expect EXPH may begin to release some news releases that will have an impact on the market.
