I don't mean to diminish what you have invested and possibly 'lost' if you are now out having sold your position; however, there are many who are still here with their investment, they recognize they are 'down', but they also recognize that they have not 'lost' until such a time as they decide they have had enough or on the flip side have decided they have made enough.
To each their own...it's the old risk tolerance, glass half full versus half empty sort of thing...glty.
