Go to the competitors websites and look at cutaway pictures of their mufflers. Magnaflow and Flowmaster will show cutaways of some of their mufflers with reverse flow chambers similar to OEM mufflers. Aero mufflers flow straight through.
Cherry Bomb shows a straight through muffler. They also admit that they use fiberglass packing to try to hold the noise down, and sadly, that packing will eventually disentegrate and blow out. Also Cherry Bomb mufflers are not stainless. Nor are all models of Magnaflow and Flowmaster.
Aero mufflers not only have patented flow control to assist the flow out of the engine, they are made of 304 stainless and are lifetime warranted.
