>When I established the Peak Oil board, I exchanged many PM's with matt to make this a free board without success. Part of his reasoning, as I try to recall, was that the board was political in nature.
Naturally I disagreed with Matt. You know my position is that Peak Oil is geologic in nature.
I already went down this road once and since the board is progressing in growth, I'm satisfied that many people can at least read the content that is presented here.
So long as word gets out about Peak Oil, I'm happy that the mission of this board and the Sustainable Living board [#board-9881] are reaching and aiding interested readers.
I know people who have free memberships and they would forward me thoughts via private E-mail or post to other boards for eventual posting to the Peak Oil board. These have greatly reduced, due to the expanded posting activity by Premium Members.
I'm happy that we are at 170 board marks and I believe this number will greatly expand as the Peak Oil issue becomes widely known.
I have shared your concern in the past, but at least people are not precluded from reading the board. To me, that is the most important thing.
Thanks for your concern, as well as your excellent support and posts,
