MMs are good at doing that they shift stock to each other all the time.
That's when the fake walls and big shakes come in.
At the same time they totally control the PPS.
There were so many times in the past that I tried to buy stocks on a big down turn at the ask and I would see my order just sit there and finally I would give up after no fills and then buy at Market and wait 10 mins or more to get filled.
It happens all the time with Pinksheet stocks.
