Companies are suppose to buyback at the bid so that there isnt a huge jump in pps, so no it shouldnt affect the pps. However, alot of people will probably be buying in because of the buyback so it may still rise as the companies stated they expect a pps of .01 in the coming weeks. However, the great thing about a buyback is it removes the shares from the market, so when someone does buy in it has an even greater impact on the pps. The lower the share structure the easier it will move.

Even if the company primarily bought at the bid there is no chance this share price doesnt rise significantly during the buyback. Go ahead and try to buy 10m dollars worth of this stock eat up 75% of the float and hold the share price stable. who is going to sell them all these shares?? The bid will have to rise to find adequate sellers
