I violated that rule once a long time ago Ben also. Since then I just keep sufficient funds in my account to get around the rule.

However, at the time I violated the rule the broker I spoke to at Scottrade told me that if your account is under 25K you can only make 3 in and out day trades in a 5 day time frame. But, he said there is no limit on swing trading it.

UVSE has been both a good stock to day trade, and good one to swing trade. I would think that you could trade it that way unless your broker has different rules governing this than mine does.
