Last Thurs I visited Woodland Hills uWink, and pretended I didnt know anything about this restaurant, as we walked in. I was with my 15yr old daughter, and we noticed adult couples seated in the front bar area tables, and family groups in the mid-section tables. They could actually turn the back area, into a dance floor after 9pm.
She said her friends and teacher had been to uWink [WHills] before.
They must have either stumbled across it while walking thru the mall, or seen the "Coupon Clipper" coupons in their mailbox. Its good to here that people actually been there, since they only been opened less then 2yrs [Oct '06].
We were pleasantly greeted at the front counter and were seated at a mid-table. The hostess asked if we've been b4, and we said no. She showed us how to put the debit/cc card/dr.lic in the slot and begin with the names of the party prompt screen. She gave just enough instruction and left. Not overly or underly attentive. It looked like there were only 2 runners [bartender + hostess] and 1 IT-guy/mgr. Dont know how many cook[s] or kitchen help there was.
The restrooms were very clean, unlike the ones mentioned in Hollywood. LOL (more to follow)
