Yes I do have good hand-eye coordination. I played baseball, 3rd base, for the 4 years of high school never had an error charged against me. Know hitting was another thing. I think I struck out more then I hit, but when I hit it, it went way out there. As far as getting picked up by a pro team NO way,
I wouldn't have tryed it if I'ed been offered it. We're talking mid 50's here & it was a lot different then it is now.
If a semi-pro team picked you up they paid you so much a game & you had to have another job to support your self. A guy that was a couple of grades ahead of me got picked up by the Souix City Sues. Souix City had a big stock yard that supported the team a lot & would hire the players & give them the time off for practice & games. He stuck with them for maybe 2 years & gave it up & went to barber school. I was good at basketball, could stand out past the free throw line & sink'm, but I didn't play. Basket ball season interfered with my hunting season. My daughter never played sports, just wasn't interested in it, but she does have good hand eye coordination. Shes a starving want a be artist & has some medical problems, husband has a great job so she doesn't have to work.
