oooooooooo-K!

I have to say don't know where rebelgirl found those pics but that shredder machine! Lordy boys and girls it looked all business didn't she???!!! 2.5 MILLION a pop gracious me, quite the heavy duty beauty.

Makes you wonder how much power it consumes and whether local cities would give preferred electricity rates to MDOR for such a green operation. Magog is in the giga hydro-power province of Quebec probably already arranged through government subsidies is my hunch. If not Magog at least would definitely be worth a shot for Florida too. Never hurts to ask everything in the news these days is all about green power, the lower the overhead the more resultant revenue.

Quebec has just started the annual two week construction workers holiday (must be all those bagels LOL!). No doubt that already was factored into the startup date, be nice if MDOR could give us a pic or two of the Magog plant in general that would be very interesting to see the actual size of operation. These plants are kind of tricky to envisage in size and scope of equipment required. Plus you need to pre-stack an adequate number of tires for the feeder to keep churning 24/7/365.

There is this technology that incorporates used rubber into road asphalt paving, as I recall it's about 5% rubber and gives roads better adhesion in rain. Picture some of our contracts built around that used tire application WhiteNoc and those presidential pics would need to be autographed old chap! :-)
