"We have met with the developers, and asked them questions about emissions, noise, visual impact, traffic, jobs, wood demand, and just about anything we can think of. We have found them to be open, forthright, and eager to work with the City and its citizens to make a biomass plant a positive addition to the community while creating new economic opportunities for our future. We hope to make this site a center for exchanging information, and getting answers to questions that we all have. We urge you to look around, get some information about the proposed biomass plant, and let us know if there is more information we should seek out for this site. We believe that Berlin’s best days are ahead, and that clean renewable energy production can be a key part of our economic future. Trees built our city, and can be an important part of the new chapter in Berlin’s history."
