I think its obvious Hector has a load of crap on the board and they where scared shitless to fire him, AMD was probably told with no uncertain terms by recent suckers ie the Dubai group Hector et al must go or no new money, the Arabs have figured out they where lied to, in Arab culture that is not acceptable. I don't think the Arabs will be giving them any more money they are not stupid. Asset light has to be sold to the Germans, do they really want to be in the fab buissness I think not, can Hector sucker them into some kind agreement, I would not put it past him.
