Not quite sure, I haven't seen any of the movies nominated. I think it is about parental conflict with their teenage son. He allegedly has an affair with Marissa Tomei, who is quite older than him. that is all I can tell you.

Sounds kinda like "Life as a House" which wasn't too bad of a movie. I am not to excited about any of the performances listed. Of course I haven't seen them all, but oh well. Maybe Penn will get it. The Academy seems to have a great appreciation for those playing the mentally ill. I wonder if that tells us anything about the intelligence of Hollywood <G>
