i don't know much about p/c ratios. all I know is the market in general is weak- hoovering at or below 10,000 on th eDow still weak internals with more new 52 week lows than highs.
I think we are entering or have entered the last phase (3rd leg) of a continuing bear market- which still has a log way to go. I'mm gonna loosen up some before the Friday CPI report- with the price of gasoling going through the roof, I don't see how the CPI cn be good, that along with gasoline prices still going up even more this month, no apparent end in sight, bad news coming out of Iraq almost every day, anything can tipp this market over into a selling spree.

P/C Ratios:


marcpw...I use the total number. There are many arguments back and forth about such, but at the end of the day, readings over 1 are very, very rare and tend to be right at important junctures. It's a tool, though...not the whole machine.
