jupiter, if that is the case and the company/Megas only wanted to determine the short via the suit against the shareholders, then did the company ever give back the shares it grabbed from shareholders who did not want to go through the expense of defending themselves? If the company gave those shareholders their shares back, then I would agree with you. If not, then I have to believe the company had motives far beyond getting the actual short numbers.

Your recollection is incorrect. The lawsuit was pointless, and accomplished nothing.
