You may be correct on that point, but...

I remember reading about three different versions of the FTV; with the most current version being the Ford FTV.

The first version was the FasTrack(TM). It was powered with an IVT, while the Ford FTV reported as not having an IVT.

"Additionally, the FasTrack(TM) incorporates Torvec's infinitely variable transmission and a patent-pending suspension system."

I don't remember a report about the IVT for the one(s) in between.

I would sure like to see the IVT be part of the demo scheduled for tomorrow.

If that is true...

I come back to my previous point about Torvec trying to build 10K or 100K of these FTVs. The Air Force isn't going to sign a contract with Torvec for these without Torvec having the ability to actually build or assemble them. Just as Torvec had to go through an "exhaustive" process with Nissan to become a qualified supplier, they will undoubtely have to go through a similar process with the USAF will they not? If it took that long to get qualified to supply a single part to Nissan imagine how long and compllicated it will be to be able to supply an entire vehicle to the government (not to mention replacement parts, service, etc.)? I think it is insurmountable for Torvec as a stand alone company. That is why they should sell out, but I think we all know that Torvec isn't willing to sell for a reasonable price. I am very cautious about this potential USAF deal. They don't have the capital (or access to it) necessary to make this happen.
