#17072 RE: the big guy #17071

A stock's price doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the fundamentals or future prospects of a company. A stock's price fluctuates for reasons both rational and irrational. Frequently there is irrational buying, which drives up the price of a stock. And frequently there is selling that has nothing to do with the fundamentals of a company, in which case the price goes down. IMO, there is no rational basis for uwink's shares to be falling at the moment. The declared business plan is in place, the third store will be open very soon, and new opportunities and success for the company are likley to follow, IMO.

Hence, there ain't nothing bad happening. Only good things. And so to panic, or pose doomsday scenarios, solely because of a fluctuation in stock price, is silly and naive. Rather, let's keep our eyes on the big picture, and unless something fundamentally changes within the company, let's view price fluctuations, such as the current one, as BUYING OPPORTUNITIES.

Happy 4th of July.
